Candy Apple Death

Finally! After all these years I've finally designed her the way I envisioned her!

I've been working off and on these characters and story since I was in my twenties. But I would get tired of it or something.

Candy and my story (I'm reworking on) is inspired by Gravedale High. A cartoon from the early 90's. In the cartoon a human teacher ends up teaching at Gravedale High, which is a high school with monsters. In my story Candy is a human who ends up going to school in Graveview High.
Candy his half Polynesian and half Caucasian. When I first created her I knew I'd have her as living on Hawaii mostly because that's the only state (that I know of) where pumpkins aren't native or grow there period. She started out as a ginger and was going to be made blonde until my mom told me to make her Polynesian. And I was like, but I want her to have ocean blue eyes. And my mom said make her half Polynesian. So that's how she ended up with black hair and tanish skin.


Background
Candy is a fifteen year old who can see and talk to ghosts. She later finds out she can tell what the person or monster is by aura. Though this doesn't always work, like with Nicola De Angelis Jr. She has zero idea of what he is.

Candy's parents died when she was a preteen and was taken in by her friend's family. As her uncle didn't want her and her mother's parents thought she was a freak. Candy's father's parents were deceased.

Candy ends up somehow in the Netherworld one day and ends up staying due to Dracula's intervention. Why, only Dracula himself knows. She ends up in the care of a witch, a gypsy and a werewolf. Where she surprisingly fit in well. However, she does have problems fitting in at school, but she does eventually make friends. Though she does have to deal with occasional racism being the only human.

Candy is learning to be a gypsy. Gypsies are a type of spell casters, so they're not considered human. Gypsies in my story are not to be confused with the Romani people and the like. My gypsies are fictional! And are not to represent an actual group of people.

Candy also has a rare elemental creature that hatched from an egg. It is a dark elemental that takes the form of a bluish black cat that can fly. I will be working on her elemental creature later.
